IN HOME SUPPORT WORKERS –(ENGLISH, SERBIAN, ARABIC speaking)
ESSENTIAL
Certificate 3 or 4 in individual Care, Disability Care, And Aged Care
- First Aid and CPR training
- Current NDIS SCREENING and/or AGED CARE SCREENING
- WORKING WITH CHILDREN SCREENING
- Peg feeding training (advantage)
Our in-house staffing ideology
Having a variety of constantly entering and leaving can be quite invasive, resulting in a loss of privacy and independence. Change Yr Life clients favour having consistent workers coming into their home every week over having a different worker for each shift. Our customers seek to establish a trusting relationship with you. We pay close attention to our clients requirements and needs. Hence, that is the primary care approach we implement – consistent use of the same workers on each shift instead of rotating a variety of staff members in and out your door/consistency.
Mandatory Requirements for Joining Our Team
- Are you fully dedicated to a role that involves caring for others?
- Are you a happy, positive person who can affect people positively?
- Follow professional guidelines?
- You listen to participants. Hear their needs and implement them. You provide clients with Choice and Control over their lives.
- You will not be afraid to let management know of issues that are unfair, unprofessional or put the client at risk.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Do you at least have Certificate 3 or 4 qualifications in Individual Care, Disability, AND/or Aged Care?
- NDIS SCREENING AND/OR
- AGED CARE SCREENING
- Working with Children screening
- FIRST AID
- CPR
- WORK VISA or PERMANENT RESIDENCY
- Administering Medication Training
